Considering hiring a trainee or apprentice? Now is the time to take advantage of the GTO Boost!

GTO Boost is a South Australian Government initiative that offers Host Employers extra financial assistance throughout the first 12 months of a new Training Contract.

For commencements of new Training Contracts between July 1 this year and June 30 2023, GTO Boost enables GTOs to offer a reduced charge-out rate of $100 per week for a period of 12 months, totalling $5,200.

It is available for eligible training contracts that are at least Certificate II level or higher. This applies to any recent or renewed commencements. Part-time or full-time training contracts are also options.

There are a number of eligibility criteria that will apply to the individual apprentice or trainee. To be eligible for the full value, the apprentice/trainee must work for the first 12 months, from commencement. Funding is subject to budget availability.
