The MTA was once again at the Adelaide 500, repairing damaged race vehicles.
The MTA had 23 apprentices experience the fast paced world of Motorsport over the weekend! 7 apprentices worked in V8 Supercar teams, assisting in their Pit Crews. Another 16 MTA trained apprentices repaired other classes of damaged race vehicles in MTA’s Repair Tent.

GTO Manager Jason Pologreen, along with MTA Trainers, facilitated demonstrations for high school students on Thursday for Urrbrae High School and St Patricks Technical College.
RTO Manager Mario Marrone and MTA Trainers John Politis, Vince Salzone, Rob Capelli, Matt MacDonald, Michael Stronskyj, David Askew, James Williams and Jim Beare mentored and supported apprentices as they were guided throughout the repairs. Without the assistance of these trainers, the Motorsport Repair Team would not be possible. Their efforts continue to provide opportunities for Automotive Apprentices in South Australia and we are looking forward to the next event at Tailem Bend!
