The MTA Apprentice Mentoring Program is a free program offered to all first and second-year MTA enrolled automotive apprentices, supported by the South Australian Government.

Ben strives to create an environment that supports apprentices in their trade-school and personal life. If you have any questions about the industry or would simply like to speak to someone about any personal issues you may be facing, please feel free to contact Ben. He is here to listen, provide support and give back to an industry that has provided him an incredible career.

Ben was formerly an apprentice at the MTA in 1986 and has now come back full circle to the MTA after working in other areas of the automotive industry.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys family time, The World Game, AFL and most motor sports. He also loves a BBQ, beer and is partial to a good Shiraz… Ben is currently restoring a 1956 Oval window VW Beetle which takes up some of his spare time and will hopefully be completed towards the end of 2023.
